Brand Identity / 2014
Barnet Fair, established in 2001, are a vintage men's barbershop based in Margate, Kent. They approached me looking for a rebrand, consisting of a new logo, business cards and apparel design. Creating a clean yet retro-inspired brand for Barnet Fair allowed me to experiment with the classic barbershop style, with the final outcome utilising a crisp black and white colour scheme and a modern twist on vintage typography. The simplicity of the icon above the text means it can also be taken away from the logo, and used on tshirts, signage, business cards and hats, as a stand alone mark, without relying on the type.
